Do You Know the Most Important Warning Lights on Your Toyota?
Indicates a malfunction in the control systems of either the Engine, Throttle or Transmission. Have the vehicle inspected by Toyota 101 immediately.
Low Engine Oil Pressure Warning Light
Indicates that the engine oil pressure is too low. Further use has the possibility of damaging the vehicle's engine.
Adjust the tire inflation pressure to the specified level. The light will turn off after a few minutes. In case the light does not turn off even if the tire inflation pressure is adjusted, see Toyota 101.
Electric Power Steering System Warning Light
Indicates that the Electric Power Steering system is malfunctioning. Have the vehicle inspected by Toyota 101 immediately.
Indicates a malfunction in the Regenerative Braking System or Electronically Controlled Braking System. See Toyota 101 immediately.
Hybrid System Overheat Warning Light
Indicates that the Hybrid System is overheating, typically due to severe operating conditions like driving up a long, steep hill. Stop, inspect the system and allow time to cool.
Indicates that maintenance of the hybrid battery cooling component is required. The filter may be clogged, air intake vent may be blocked or there may be a gap in the duct.
Automatic Headlight Leveling System Warning Light
Indicates a malfunction in the automatic headlight leveling system. See Toyota 101 immediately.
Indicates a malfunction in the charging system. Consult your Owner's Manual for more details and steps to take for correction.
Smart Key System Warning Light
Indicates a concern with the Smart Key System. Please consult your Owner's Manual for more details.
The buzzer sounds when the sensors are operating. The buzzer increases as the vehicle approaches an obstacle, when close the buzzer sounds continuously.
A buzzer sounds and the warning light flashes to indicate that the master warning system has detected a malfunction.
